Stefan Wiedmer appointed new Managing Director of Verkehrsverbund Warnow
After almost nine years, Stefan Wiedmer is leaving civity to take over the management of Verkehrsverbund Warnow (VVW) in January 2020.
In 2011, just a short time after civity was founded, Stefan Wiedmer joined the company as a consultant for mobility and utility topics.
As a project manager, he accompanied numerous companies, task forces and other market participants in strategy and organisational development. With his expertise in addressing sales, operational and infrastructural issues and his experience as a certified Business Coach, he enabled our clients’ teams and employees to develop appropriate and sustainable solutions for the future in response to today’s challenges.
In his new position, Mr Wiedmer will be responsible for the development of regional and supra-regional fare models, designing fare measures, implementing revenue distribution and shaping the ongoing digitalisation for Verkehrverbund Warnow.
In addition to implementation and responsibility for numerous projects and topics, Stefan Wiedmer had a decisive role to play in the successful development of civity since its foundation, for which we would like to express our sincere thanks.
