Dr. Julian Zuber from civity now CEO of GermanZero
Since GermanZero was established last year, Julian Zuber has been a volunteer with the NGO. This year, civity also supported the work of GermanZero in one project. Now, Julian Zuber is taking over the role of CEO and Climate Policy Director at GermanZero.
As always, we are both pleased and sad to say goodbye. Dr. Julian Zuber, who already worked at civity as an intern in 2012 and returned as a Senior Consultant in 2018, is leaving civity to devote himself fully to climate commitment. “I am thrilled to have this opportunity to fight the climate crisis with GermanZero and I am looking forward to this new challenge," Julian Zuber explains his decision. “I will always have fond memories of my time at civity and I am grateful for both the experience gained and the exciting times there."
At civity, Julian Zuber worked primarily on strategy projects, data analytics and political communication. In his new position as CEO of GermanZero, Julian Zuber will push ahead the implementation of the 1.5 degree law and work to make Germany climate-neutral by 2035. We would like to wish him and the entire GermanZero team every success and we look forward to continued professional collaboration between civity and GermanZero.
