Jan Heistermann studied business management with a focus on accounting and corporate development in Munich and Edinburgh. While studying he worked for a local public transport provider and collected further working experience with a railway infrastructure manager and an airport operator.
From 2013 to 2019 he worked for the business consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Infrastructure & Mobility unit. He was focussed in advising public transport companies, ministries and associations, in particular on business and regulatory issues. In January 2020 Jan Heistermann joined civity Management Consultants.
